STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

  1.  The client expressly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if such terms are issued after these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any deviation from these terms shall be valid only if expressly agreed upon in writing in advance.
  2. All invoices issued by STAR ENGINEERING are payable within same day, unless a different payment period is stated on the invoice or order. In the event of non-payment by the due date, STAR ENGINEERING reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 24% per annum on the outstanding amount. STAR ENGINEERING shall also be entitled to suspend the supply or dispatch of goods without prior notice in case of delayed payment.
  3. If the payment remains outstanding for more than two (2) days after the due date, STAR ENGINEERING reserves the right to initiate recovery proceedings through a debt recovery agency. All legal, recovery, and related expenses shall be borne by the client.
  4. STAR ENGINEERING does not provide delivery or transportation services. All goods shall be collected by the client from STAR ENGINEERING’s premises at its own cost, risk, and responsibility, using a valid commercial motor vehicle with all statutory permits. Any timelines communicated for readiness of goods are indicative only and shall not be construed as a guarantee. Under no circumstances shall STAR ENGINEERING be liable for delays, damages, losses, or third-party claims arising during loading, transit, or after the goods are handed over to the client or its transporter.
  5. Any claim relating to the goods supplied must be notified to STAR ENGINEERING in writing at its registered office within eight (8) days from the date of dispatched. Claims received after this period shall not be entertained.
  6. All contractual relations shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India.
